Interviews have an unfair amount of impact on the course of our lives. Furthermore, what makes them really unfair, interviews really benefit people who lack humility and are great at talking. A lot of times people who are great at talking aren't really the best at doing the job.
The philosophy behind STAR Method is that we want people who are great at doing to job to develop the skillset that will help them succeed in an interview. The STAR Method is a proven method that helps you answer behavioral interview questions in a way that is concise and effective. So you don't have to learn how to schmooze, or self-promote, or be someone you're not. You just have to learn how to tell your story in a way that is compelling and effective.
Career coaches are great for this. And if you have the resources, we highly recommend you work with one. But if you don't, we're here to help. AI is advancing rapidly, and we believe using it to practice for a job interview, as well as many other kinds of speech, is effective and helpful.

STARMethod.org was founded by Michael Pell in 2024. Michael has a background in software engineering and has worked at a number of tech companies in the Bay Area, NYC and now his home in western North Carolina. He has also worked as a mentor and teacher. He is passionate about helping people succeed in their careers and believes that the STAR Method is a powerful tool that can help people do just that.
